Program Development
Comprehensive Program
A comprehensive program begins with performing Enterprise Mapping and a Governance Assessment. Once the current state is established, an IM program will be defined which includes: Information Architecture, Document Management, Records Management, Knowledge Management, Data Management, Privacy, Governance, and Technology Tools. The project plan will include Communications, Training, and Deployment plans.
Key Element Development
Pick the element of an IM Program that you want to focus on: Document Management, Records Management, Knowledge Management, Data Management, Privacy, Governance. We will create a project plan and implement (or revise) that element so that it fits into your existing IM program.
Governance
Perhaps you have jumped in with implementing an ECM software package, but need to wrap governance around the program. Let's create a strategy, policy, and standard at the top level and then additional standards for each element of the IM program. Additionally, we will establish a steering committee and compliance program.
Strategic Planning
Assessments
We will create an Enterprise Data Map and/or conduct a Governance Assessment. You will be provided with the results of the assessment along with a SWOT analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Benchmarking assessments with gap analysis are also an option.
Strategic Plan
A successful IM program starts with a strategic plan that creates the vision for the program. IM Visibility will lead your team to define your current state, establish your goals, and create a plan to achieve the goals. We will examine internal drivers, external drivers, top-level objectives, and resources. Most importantly, we will ensure that the IM strategic plan is in line with the overarching strategic plan for the organization.
AI Policy
This is the first step to implementing AI tools. An AI Policy defines what AI means to the organization, which tools will be deployed, and which tools will not be allowed. This will define the scope of how you will use AI to grow the organization.
